Cardiac Telemetry / Med-Surg RN

Employment Type: Full-Time | Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation:

• Base Pay: $29 – $45/hour (based on experience)

• Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr Nights | $3.00/hr Weekends

• Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join a dynamic and collaborative Cardiac Telemetry/Med-Surg unit. You’ll play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care for a 45-bed telemetry medical-surgical unit. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients throughout each shift; report significant changes in condition

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring responses and outcomes

• Document all nursing interventions and patient care accurately and timely

• Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and follow-up care

• Deliver exceptional service by anticipating and addressing patient needs proactively

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact RN license

• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience within the last 4 years

• BLS from the American Heart Association (required within 30 days of hire)

• ACLS from the American Heart Association (required within 90 days of hire)

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Additional Info:

• Patient ratio is typically 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights

• Candidates must live within a commutable distance (under 60 minutes from facility)

• In-person interview and onsite shadow required prior to offer
