Job Title: Saw Operator

Location: Greensburg, PA area

Salary: $20-27/hr

Job Duties
- Operate and maintain saw equipment to cut various materials, such as metal, wood, or plastic, according to specifications
- Set up and adjust saw blades, guides, and stops to ensure accurate cuts
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished pieces for defects or imperfections
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

-High School Diploma or GED

- Experience in an industrial operations/manufacturing environment
- Previous experience operating saw equipment preferred

-Ability to work steady or rotating shifts

-Ability to work overtime, including weekends
- Knowledge of different types of saws and their uses
- Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols for operating saws
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements and angles
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
